The Jerome Foundation and United Memorial Medical Center Foundation are looking for nominations for Genesee County’s Health and Humanitarian Award for 2010.
The award is given each year to someone whose time and effort has improved the health and well-being for people in the greater Genesee County area. Last year’s winner, Ricky Palermo of Batavia, is a spinal cord injury victim who raises thousands of dollars each year for spinal cord research.
Nomination forms for this year’s award are available at UMMC’s Foundation Office at 127 North Street. They are due by October 15th.
This is the 26th year for the Health and Humanitarian award.
