Republican candidate for Governor, Carl Paladino, is explaining today what happened to cause his dust-up with “New York Post” state editor Fred Dicker.

"First of all, he interrupted me talking to another reporter," Paladino claims. "And he stuck his microphone in my face; he started poking at me with it."

The two got into a shouting match after Dicker asked Paladino to explain his statements about Andrew Cuomo having affairs out of wedlock.
Paladino says he feels like he’s been getting the shaft from an awful lot of reporters lately.

"From my perspective, I just found it very unusual that I get treated this way by press," says Paladino, "by bird dogs like Mr. Dicker, who's out there doing his work."

Paladino says he's not one to back down from an attack.
