A local bridge is closing for repair.
The Pratt Road bridge, which spans a section of the Tonawanda Creek in Pembroke, will be shut down tomorrow and remain closed for about a week.
County Highway Superintendent Timothy Hens says the repairs will focus on two steel girders that need reinforcing.
Earlier this summer, a load restriction was placed on that bridge. The scheduled repairs will remove that load restriction.
