Democratic and Green Party candidate for Assembly, Chris Barons, is putting the challenge out to his supporters: make a homemade yard sign.
In a news release, Barons explains that he has very little campaign funding, and most of it comes out of his own pocket. He says he has received no support from any business, PAC, or special interest. So, Chris Barons can’t afford to print up lawn signs bearing his name or his candidacy.
So instead, Barons is putting out the call for his supporters to draw up their own signs. And he’ll be on the lookout: the sign deemed the best will earn the creator a free dinner, on Election Night, with the candidate himself.
Chris Barons is running for the Assembly seat currently held by Republican Steve Hawley.
