The woman who pled guilty to fraud and forgery at LeRoy’s Bank of Castile, was sentenced today in Genesee County Court.

Tracy L. Smith of Bergen will serve a four-month intermittent jail sentence, and five years probation for her crimes. Smith pled guilty to skimming $45,000 while working as a teller at the LeRoy Bank of Castile. Smith had been charged with 12 felony accounts pursuant to the crime.

                                                                                                                       

Tomorrow, another criminal is set to be sentenced. 42-year-old Gerardo Pineda-Sanchez of Elba, guilty of Assault and Criminal Possession of a Weapon, will stand before the judge to hear his fate.

Pineda-Sanchez is guilty of an incident back in May when he slashed the face and hand of a fellow farmworker. That victim needed 80 stitches for his wounds.

life is not worth stealing for, if you have a good job , why steal?. i worked at a bank for 32 years before i retired. it was my life, of meeting nice people and working with nice people, when you steal from other people something will be taken from you. crime does'nt pay , but a job does.
