A Batavia man tries to use his brother’s name upon being arrested – now he has to answer for it in court.

Genesee County Sheriff’s Deputies report 22-year-old Christian Finkney of Galloway Road was stopped in Byron this past Friday, for what is being called a “road rage incident.” When deputies stopped him, Finkney gave them a name and date of birth – of his brother.

He had already been charged for driving an unregistered, uninsured vehicle with switched license plates. Then today, deputies discovered Finkney had lied about his identity. Christian Finkney was picked up again – this time, he gave his real name and date of birth.

Finkney is now due in court on November 8th.
