The Byron-Bergen School District is holding open interviews for its vacant Board of Education position, after the untimely passing of Board Vice-President Lori Nelson.
Superintendent Scott Martzloff announced today that applications are being accepted for the seat on the Board. The term will expire on June 30th, 2011. The appointed Board member will then be eligible to run for re-election in the May 2011.
Only residents of Byron and Bergen are eligible to apply for the vacant seat.
