The other, quieter half of this summer’s infamous rendezvous in Farrall Park was due in Genesee County Court for sentencing today.
But it’s going to be a bit more complicated for 29-year-old Justin Amend.
WBTA News partner The Batavian has learned that Amend has moved to the state of Florida – which means he can’t be sentenced to parole here in Genesee County.
Amend had apparently pled guilty to a Public Lewdness charge with the understanding that he would not do jail time. But his move south has nulled that agreement.
Amend now apparently has two options: receive his sentence, now likely including jail time, or withdraw his plea and face a trial.
Amend’s sentencing has been delayed indefinitely.
