It’s been three weeks since the call was first put out –now, the City and Town of Batavia are still looking for public servants to sit on the Consolidated Charter Task Force, and possibly write the future for Batavia.
The task force will be responsible for drafting a revised City Charter which would become the governing document should the city and town actually consolidate.
The task force will consist of four town residents and four city residents, over 18-years-old, and not employed by either the town of the city. Spouses of city or town employees cannot apply.
Applications for the job are available at the Batavia Town Clerk's Office on West Main Street Road or the City Clerk's Office in City Hall. Or CLICK HERE for the online application.
