At this hour (5:06pm), a Thruway entrance at Pembroke is shut down due to a serious traffic accident.

A tractor-trailer has jackknifed near the Eastbound on-ramp, and apparently tipped over on top of a car. No injuries have been reported from the scene, apparently the driver of the car is okay. But the on-ramp is shut down pending clean-up operations on the scene.
