Convicted baby-shaker Dietrich Williams was sentenced in Genesee County Court this morning to 12 years in prison for a violent incident occurring last June.
Williams admitted that he shook an infant Batavia girl while babysitting her, even forcibly slamming her head down, to make her be quiet.
The girl suffered severe injuries in the incident.
The first-degree attempted assault charge against Williams carries a maximum penalty of 25 years in prison. But a plea deal decreased the possible term.
