New York State will lose some political clout in Washington following the release of the 2010 census results.
Due to its declining population, New York is among nine states that will lose seats in the U.S. House of Representatives.
For New York, it means the loss of two seats, 29 to 27.
Which two? That will be decided by the New York State legislature.
State’s that picked up congressional seats include: Arizona, Florida and Texas.
This morning’s Bad Boys Report:
50-year-old Martin Miller: A convicted sex offender now living in Oakfield. He has been jailed for failing to report his change of address. Deputies say Miller now lives on Water Street in Oakfield.
Sex offenders have 10 days to report any change of address.
20-year-old Eugene Matteson of Perry: He has been arrested on a variety of drug charges. He is accused of selling drugs to an under cover officer.
Matteson has been locked up in the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.
The City of Batavia is looking for residents to sit on the City Zoning Board of Appeals.

Sabres goalie Ryan Miller is off the market. The Olympic star proposed to his girlfriend, Noureen DeWulf, over the weekend. Miller says they are both excited and happy and looking forward to enjoying the holiday season.

Now, State Assemblyman Steve Hawley of Batavia says the Department of Environmental Conservation is about to issue new rules regulating how these boilers can be used.
