An Albion woman charged with a felony count of drunk driving.
39 year old Courtney Robertson was involved in a one car accident on Hamilton Street in Albion Friday night.
Officers say they determined Robertson was drunk when she struck a utility pole. They also said Robertson was drinking in her vehicle at the time of the accident.
Robertson’s six year old child was also in the vehicle.
No one was hurt in the accident.
Robertson is facing a felony charge under Leandra’s Law.
More rain the forecast for the Batavia City Centre Mall unless permanent repairs can be made to the roof.
On Friday a significant leak occurred in the con course near The Insurance Center.
Temporary repairs were made.
Three weeks ago the city council signed off on a settlement to end the 10 year old dispute with the mall merchants association
The settlement called for the city to invest $160,000 to permanently repair the roof.
City Manager Jason Molino said lawyers for the merchants association have yet to present the settlement to the merchants’ membership.
Batavia burglar Andrew Kosiorek accepts a plea deal for breaking into the Rancho Viejo in January.
The 44-year old Kosiorek could have been looking at a maximum of 14 years behind bars, however the agreement promised a sentence cap of 2 to 6 years.
