Highway death in the Wyoming County Town of Sheldon.
An as yet unidentified person was killed and another person injured when two vehicles collided head-on along Big Tree Road yesterday morning.
The injured driver, who also has not been identified, was taken to ECMC.
The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office said further information about the accident would not be released until tomorrow.

A Bradford, New York man was killed on Friday when his vehicle crossed the center line of Route 63 and collided with another vehicle.
67 year old Gerald Makin of Bradford was pronounced dead at the scene.

A former employee of United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia admits she stole surgical equipment from the hospital and sold it on E-bay.
48 year old Kim Diamond, of Livingston County plead guilty to a charge of Grand Larceny in the 3rd degree and agreed to pay $30,000 in restitution.
She has already paid back $10,000 and has been ordered to pay $344 per month until the balance is paid off.
Diamond will be sentenced in August. She could be sentenced to anything ranging from probation to seven years in prison.

A Bergen teenager has been charged with criminal mischief for taking a sledgehammer to a concrete picnic table in Hickory Park.
The 16 year old was given a court appearance ticket.
Deputies say he caused more than $250 damage.
