Genesee County will soon need a new lawyer.
Long time County Attorney John Rizzo is retiring next month.
News of Rizzo’s retirement was contained in an announcement from Five Star Bank that Rizzo has been appointed Corporate Secretary to the bank’s board of directors.
Rizzo has been county attorney since 1976. He also maintains a private law practice.
Rizzo lives in LeRoy.
