A suspicious death in Livingston County has investigators wondering just what happened in the Town of West Sparta.
Dispatchers last night received report of an unresponsive woman at a home on Reed Road in West Sparta. When responders arrived, they found 46-year-old Tina Graves lying still in her bed – and her husband with blankets and clothing, apparently trying to warm her up.
Graves was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.
Apparently, just after 5:00am, Tina’s husband Kevin had noticed his wife missing from the house. He eventually located her lifeless body outside, near the family truck. The temperature was hovering around zero degrees at the time.
Livingston County Sheriff’s Investigators say the couple had been drinking all afternoon and evening at a local tavern before coming home. They will try determine if the drinking was related to Tina’s death.
No charges filed so far.
