Hank Stratton Featured Artist at ARC "Celebrating Art-Abilities"
Hank Stratton, affectionately known as "Hammering Hank" to all his Challenger Baseball fans, is an energenic, loveable, almost-12 year old boy who happens to have autism. Hank and his family joined the ARC four years ago. Hank receives services through the ARC's Family Support Program. He especially enjoys the ARC's Art Club.
So talented is Hank, he has been selected as the featured artist for the "Celebrating Art-abilities" Show on March 11 at the ARC's new Community Center (the former St. Mary's School) at 38 Woodrow Road in Batavia.

Valentines for Our Troops 2010
Hailed as the biggest ever, this year's event drew more people and more items than ever. Organized by the Ladies Auxiliary of American legion Post 576 in LeRoy, Valentine's for Our Troops collects items of a personal care nature for servicemen and women stationed overseas. This year's event was highlighted by a telephone call from Spec. James Debottis, stationed in Afghanistan. Via WBTA, Spec. Debottis was able to speak with his mother, who was at the Legion, and wish her a long distance, "Happy Valentines Day."

WBTA Goes to Washington
WBTA's Dan and Debbie Fischer accompanied State Assemblyman Steve Hawley and three bus loads of local veterans to Washington, DC for Patriot's Trip 2009. The group visited several monuments and other atractions in Washington. For some of the vets, it was their first trip to the nation's capitol.
